Ingredients
Scale
- 1 package (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Fresh herbs for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook ground turkey until browned; season with salt, pepper, and thyme.
- Roll out crescent dough and arrange in a circle on the baking sheet, with pointed ends facing outward, leaving a hole in the center.
- Spread cooked turkey evenly over the dough, leaving about 1 inch border. Spoon cranberry sauce over the turkey, then sprinkle with cheese.
- Fold outer points of the dough over the filling, overlapping slightly, to form a ring.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
- Adjust cranberry sauce quantity based on preference for tartness.
- Replace ground turkey with cooked chicken or vegetarian options.
