A quick and easy Korean beef bowl combining tender beef, flavorful sauce, and fresh toppings served over rice.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup water or beef broth
  • Green onions, sliced for garnish
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
  4. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and water or beef broth. Pour over beef and cook until sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Serve beef over rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
