- 1 lb sliced beef
- 1 cup jasmine rice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1/4 cup water or beef broth
- Green onions, sliced for garnish
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook rice according to package instructions and set aside.
- In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté until fragrant.
- Add sliced beef and cook until browned.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, and water or beef broth. Pour over beef and cook until sauce thickens slightly.
- Serve beef over rice, garnished with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels with red pepper flakes if desired.
- You can add shredded carrots or steamed broccoli for extra vegetables.
