- 1 lb (450g) chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) tomato sauce or crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and sauté until translucent.
- Add garlic and ginger; cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Stir in spices: garam masala, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken pieces and cook until browned and cooked through.
- Pour in tomato sauce and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream and cook for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate chicken in spices and yogurt for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Serve with basmati rice or naan bread.
