- 8 oz (227g) udon or egg noodles
- 1 lb (450g) ground beef
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp vegetable oil
- Sesame seeds for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add ground beef and cook until browned, about 5 minutes.
- Stir in minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
- Add soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar, stirring to combine and simmer for 2-3 minutes.
- Mix in cooked noodles and sesame oil, tossing to coat evenly.

- Adjust soy sauce and sugar to taste for your desired flavor balance.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
