- 1/2 cup (115g) unsalted butter
- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/3 cup (30g) unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup (65g) all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9-inch square baking pan.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, melt butter. Allow to cool slightly.
- In the same bowl, whisk in sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth.
- Sift cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder into the mixture. Stir until well combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with moist crumbs.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
- For an extra fudgy texture, do not over bake.
- Can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
