  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 packet (2 ¼ tsp) instant yeast
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 egg
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted butter, egg, and salt. Mix well.
  3. Gradually add flour, kneading until a soft dough forms.
  4. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  6. Divide dough into 12 equal pieces and shape into rolls. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Mix minced garlic with a few tablespoons of melted butter and brush over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired. Serve warm.
