- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 3 tbsp butter
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1-inch ginger, grated
- 1 can (14 oz) crushed tomatoes
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add onion, garlic, and ginger; cook until translucent.
- Add spices: garam masala, turmeric, cumin; stir for 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add chicken chunks and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Stir in heavy cream, simmer for another 5 minutes until sauce thickens.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
Notes
- Adjust spice levels to taste.
- For a thicker sauce, simmer longer or add a little cornstarch slurry.
