- 1 package puff pastry sheets
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or mozzarella)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Sauté onion and garlic until fragrant, then add ground beef, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook until browned, then let cool slightly.
- Roll out puff pastry sheets and cut into triangles.
- Place a spoonful of beef mixture and cheese at the wide end of each triangle, then roll up to form a croissant shape.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and flaky.
Notes
- Ensure beef is cooled before filling to prevent soggy pastry.
- You can add sautéed mushrooms or peppers for variation.
