Ingredients

- 1 pound of carrots, peeled and sliced
- 3 tablespoons honey or maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley or thyme for garnish
Instructions
- Bring a pot of water to boil and cook carrots for about 5-7 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add honey, salt, and pepper, stirring until combined.
- Add the cooked carrots to the skillet and toss to coat in the glaze. Cook for 3-5 minutes until the glaze is thick and shiny.
- Garnish with chopped fresh herbs and serve warm.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add a splash of orange juice or sprinkle with cinnamon.
- Can be prepared ahead and reheated gently before serving.
