- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup white rice
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- Sour cream for topping
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the rice according to package instructions.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground beef, cook until browned.
- Add taco seasoning and a splash of water; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Assemble bowls by dividing rice, then topping with seasoned beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken or turkey for beef.
- Adjust spice level with more or less taco seasoning.
