- 2 cups cooked jasmine rice
- 1 lb chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp honey or brown sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp cornstarch mixed with 2 tbsp water
- Sesame seeds and chopped green onions for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, garlic, rice vinegar, and sesame oil to make the sauce.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat, add chicken, and cook until browned.
- Pout the sauce over the chicken and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the cornstarch mixture and cook until the sauce thickens.
- Serve the chicken over rice, garnished with sesame seeds and green onions.
Notes
- Adjust sweetness by adding more honey or sugar.
- For extra heat, include chili flakes or sriracha.
