Instructions
- Add diced potatoes, chopped onion, minced garlic, broth, salt, and pepper to the crock pot.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours until potatoes are tender.
- Stir in butter and milk or cream, then cook for another 30 minutes on low.
- Serve hot with desired toppings for extra flavor.

- For a thicker soup, blend part of the cooked potatoes before serving.
