- 1 package (16 oz) of flaky croissants, torn into pieces
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Spread torn croissants evenly in the dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the top.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk eggs, milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissants, pressing down slightly to ensure soaking.
- Cover and refrigerate overnight.
- Bake uncovered for 35-40 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, and enjoy warm or at room temperature.
