- 1 lb chicken tenders or chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup popcorn, crushed
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with crushed popcorn mixed with paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge chicken pieces in flour, shake off excess, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat with popcorn mixture.
- Place coated chicken on the prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with cooking spray.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden and crispy. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces.
Notes
- For extra crunch, spray the coated chicken lightly with cooking spray before baking.
- You can substitute crushed Panko breadcrumbs for popcorn for a different texture.
