Classic creamy deviled eggs are the perfect party snack. Filled with a smooth, flavorful mixture of egg yolks, mayonnaise, and Dijon mustard, topped with paprika and herbs, these eggs are both visually appealing and delicious.

Ingredients

  • 6 large eggs
  • 3 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Paprika for garnish

Instructions

  1. Hard boil the eggs: Place eggs in a pot and cover with cold water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes. Cool in ice water, then peel.
  2. Slice eggs in half lengthwise and carefully remove yolks into a bowl.
  3. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  4. Using a piping bag or spoon, fill the egg whites with the yolk mixture.
  5. Garnish with paprika and chopped chives or parsley. Chill before serving.
