  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • For glaze: 1 cup powdered sugar, 2 teaspoons milk, 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Cut in the cold butter until crumbly. Add egg and vanilla, mix until dough forms.
  4. In a small bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  5. On a floured surface, roll out dough into a rectangle. Spread sour cream evenly over dough, then sprinkle with cinnamon sugar mixture.
  6. Roll up dough tightly into a log, then slice into 1-inch pieces.
  7. Place slices on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Mix glaze ingredients and drizzle over warm cookies before serving.
