- 1 pound ground beef or turkey
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (28 ounces) diced tomatoes
- 4 cups beef or vegetable broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 8 oz lasagna noodles, broken into pieces
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, cook ground beef with onion and garlic until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add diced tomatoes, broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in broken lasagna noodles and cook until tender, about 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat and sprinkle mozzarella cheese on top. Cover and let melt.
- Serve hot, garnished with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.
Notes
- You can substitute ground chicken or plant-based meat for a vegetarian variation.
- Add spinach or kale for extra greens.
