Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm milk, yeast, and sugar. Let sit until frothy, about 5 minutes.
- Mix in melted butter, salt, and flour to form a dough. Knead until smooth.
- Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 1 hour.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Punch down the dough and roll into a rectangle.
- Spread the shredded cheeses and herbs evenly over the dough, then roll up tightly.
- Form into a loaf or decorate as desired with pepper or cherry tomatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden and cheese is bubbly.
