Instructions
- In a bowl, combine warm water, yeast, and sugar; let sit until frothy (about 5 minutes).
- Add flour, melted butter, and salt; knead until smooth and elastic.
- Divide the dough into small pieces and roll into bite-sized balls.
- Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Boil a large pot of water with baking soda for pretzels.
- Drop the pretzel bites into boiling water for 30 seconds, then remove with a slotted spoon.
- Place the pretzels on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, sprinkle with toppings.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown. Serve warm.
